New Delhi. Police have filed a charge sheet of 1000 pages against SP MP Zia Urrahman Burke in the violence case that erupted in November 2024 last year in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. In this charge sheet filed in Sambhal’s MP-MLA court, 23 people including Burke have been accused. The police allege that SP MP Zia Urrahman Burke provoked the people after which the crowd became furious and attacked the police. 4 people were killed in the incident of violence while 23 policemen, including 23 policemen, were injured.
In this case, the SP MP says that on the day of violence, he was not in Sambhal, he is being deliberately made a victim of political conspiracy. The Allahabad High Court has stayed the arrest of the SP MP and directed them to cooperate in the investigation. Let us tell you that a petition was filed in the local court regarding Sambhal’s royal Jama Masjid, in which the petitioner claimed that there was a Sri Harihar temple here, which was broken by the Mughal rulers and built the mosque. Sambhal’s court ordered ASI to survey the mosque.
