New Delhi. Amid the ongoing controversy over Shiv Sena UBT MP Arvind Sawant’s statement on imported goods, his own party’s senior leader Sanjay Raut has defended Sawant. Sanjay Raut said that Arvind Sawant is a senior leader of our party and he has not insulted anyone. Raut said, if any goods is brought from outside then it is called imported goods, Shiv Sena candidate of Shinde group from Mumbadevi, Shaina NC, has come from outside, so how can a woman be insulted in this. Raut said, this issue is being blown out of proportion unnecessarily.

Sanjay Raut made the opposite allegation and said that what did these people not say about Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi? You should once see the history of the last 10-15 years.
