Mumbai Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena-UBT Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut has advised Congress to play the role of elder brother. Sanjay Raut told the media on Tuesday that Congress should learn from BJP. Sanjay Raut said that Congress should make the same sacrifices as BJP did when we were in NDA. Uddhav’s MP said that talks always go on in Congress. Sanjay Raut said that if Indi alliance is not kept alive, the opposition will be destroyed. He said that it is true that an opposition alliance was formed for the Lok Sabha elections, but it is needed in future too.

Sanjay Raut said that elections for local bodies are to be held in Maharashtra. It is difficult to form an alliance in this, but in Lok Sabha and Assembly elections we have to make some compromise. The MP from Uddhav’s party gave the example of Delhi and said that there could be competition between Aam Aadmi Party and Congress. We had given similar suggestion for Maharashtra civic elections. However, one should not go to the extent of calling former or future colleagues cheaters. Sanjay Raut said that RSS did not bring Ramlala. He also said that licking the shoes of the people of Delhi is like living with those who put Maharashtra in a pit.
Let us tell you that Sanjay Raut had recently said that Shiv Sena-UBT will contest BMC and other civic bodies elections of Maharashtra on their own. Sanjay Raut has been giving advice to Congress even before this. In the assembly elections of Haryana and Maharashtra, BJP badly defeated Congress and opposition parties. Only after this the parties of Indi alliance started making statements against Congress. When West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee said that she was ready to take charge of the opposition alliance, Lalu Yadav, Sharad Pawar, Akhilesh Yadav, Uddhav Thackeray and Arvind Kejriwal even supported her. Now Sanjay Raut has advised Congress to sacrifice like an elder brother.
