Saudi Arabia has banned the work visa of 14 countries including India. In several media reports, it was claimed that Saudi Arabia has laid a temporary ban on the visas of 14 countries including India, Pakistan till June 30. But now these reports have been rejected by the Government of India. This report from the Saudi government has come to light at a time when Haj pilgrimage is going on in the country. India’s Foreign Ministry termed the news wrong
The news that has been banned by Saudi Arabia by Saudi Arabia on behalf of the Ministry of External Affairs of India has been declared wrong. It has been said by the Ministry that the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development of the Saudi government has not issued any such notification. During the Haj season, there has been a tradition of imposing temporary ban on short -term visas to prevent congestion, which end up with the conclusion of Haj. The work visa of Indians has not been banned.

Saudi banned the visa of these countries
On behalf of Saudi Arabia, people of 14 countries including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh have imposed a temporary ban on the release of Umrah, Business and Family Visits. Significantly, in the absence of Haj permits in the Haj season, they used to reach Saudi Arabia through these visas and used to perform Hajj in Mecca unofficially.
Last year, a large number of people performed Haj. Due to the heat and maximum temperature, 1,300 Haj pilgrims lost their lives. Keeping this in view, this step has been taken.
