A person from Saudi Arabia expressed resentment at IndiGo and Travel Agency, said – ‘My Relationship Flight suddenly disappeared from the system. Salman Ahmed of Saudi Arabia strongly criticized Indigo Airlines and Booking Platform Almosafer in a post on Linkedin. He said that his flight which was already reschedule (resolved) was suddenly disappeared from the system without any notice. This not only caused him a lot of trouble, but also suffered financial losses.
Salman wrote, “I want to bring out a very bad and harmful incident related to Almosafer and IndiGo Airlines. This incident not only got stuck but also lost money but also lost money, it is the result of failure and negligence from both.”
He says that he was earlier told that his flight was successfully reschedule, but later he saw that his booking was not present in the system. He wrote, “Without any prior notice, the flight information suddenly disappeared. Later it was told that the flight was never reschedule and now there is no record of that booking.”
The matter worsened when he came to know that some fees were to be deposited to decide the flight, but they were never told this. Salman said, “Neither Almosafer nor IndiGo ever told me that any payment is necessary. My booking was quietly canceled and I was not given a chance to do anything. The result is that I had to lose both my flight and money.”
Salman described it as “clearly a huge lack of responsibility and coordination” and demanded a change in the entire case, refund or compensation and a change in the way of dealing with such a situation. He ended his post saying, “It is not acceptable at all that a customer becomes a victim of such negligence. I appeal to both companies to take responsibility immediately and take corrective steps.”
