Four children were killed and 17 others were injured when a government school building collapsed on Friday in Jhalawar district of Rajasthan. News agency ANI has given this information quoting SP Amit Kumar. The SP said that 3-4 students died and many others were injured when the roof of Piplodi Primary School, Jhalawar fell. On receiving the information, Jhalawar Collector and SP Amit Kumar Budania left for the spot.

A bulldozer also seems to help in rescue operations. Hundreds of people gather around the collapsed building, while many local residents are trying to remove the bricks from their hands and remove the people trapped in the debris.
Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar said, “Sad news has been received from Piplodi Middle School in Jhalawar district. Three children died on the spot and some children have been injured due to the fall of the school roof.
Congress leader and former CM Ashok Gehlot reacted to the accident. He wrote on X – The incident of collapse of a government school building in Manorathana in Jhalawar is sad, in which many children and teachers are reported to be casualties. I pray to God that loss of life in this accident should be reduced and the injured should be healthy soon.
