The Border Security Force on Friday killed seven terrorists trying to infiltrate India-Pakistan international border in Jammu and also destroyed a Rangers outpost.
The incident occurred in the Samba sector on midnight of 8-9 May, when a “large group of terrorists” was detected by the monitoring grid.
The BSF spokesperson said that this effort of infiltration was supported by the firing by Pakistani Rangers at Dhandhar Chowki.
He said that the soldiers thwarted the infiltration attempt, killed at least seven terrorists and caused heavy damage to the Dhandhar outpost. He also shared a thermal imagery clip of destruction of the said post.
The force is on high alert in view of the current enmity between the two countries after the attack on the Pahalgam terrorist attack on 22 April and the terrorist bases in Pakistan -occupied Kashmir by India.
