New Delhi. Bihar’s folk singer Sharda Sinha has passed away. She was suffering from cancer for some time and was admitted in AIIMS, Delhi. He breathed his last at the age of 72. Due to continuous decline in the health of Sharda Sinha, she was put on ventilator, and she died of refractory shock due to septicemia at 9.20 pm on Tuesday night.
Sharda Sinha’s son Anshuman Sinha shared this sad information on her ex account. He wrote with a picture of Sharda Sinha, “Your prayers and love will always be with mom. Mother is no longer with us, Chhathi Maiya has called her to herself.”

Anshuman Sinha had earlier given information about Sharda Sinha’s health on his YouTube channel and told that she is on ventilator support. He also appealed to Sharda Sinha’s fans to pray for her health.
Film personalities expressed grief
There has been a wave of mourning in the film world due to the news of Sharda Sinha’s demise. Poet and writer Kumar Vishwas paid tribute to him by sharing his photographs. Meanwhile, Bhojpuri singer Malini Awasthi wrote, “Didi, how should I say goodbye to you?” Bhojpuri actor and singer Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirahua has also paid tribute to Sharda Sinha.
Sharda Sinha was devastated by her husband’s death.
On September 21 this year, Sharda Sinha’s husband Braj Kishore died of brain hemorrhage, after which her health started deteriorating. Her son Anshuman told that she was deeply shocked by her husband’s death, from which she could not recover.

Sharda Sinha, known as Bihar Kokila, was famous for Chhath songs. He lent his voice to the song ‘Nirmohiya’ from the OTT series ‘Maharani Season 2’. Sharda Sinha had spread the magic of her melodious voice in the famous song ‘Kahe Tose Sajna’ from the 1989 Salman Khan film ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’. He sang many songs like ‘Taar Bijli Se Patle Hamare Piya’ from ‘Gangs of Wasseypur 2’, which were very popular.
