Sharjeel Imam in Delhi Riot Case: Strict remarks of the court on the accused of Delhi riot, Shajil Imam, fixed the charges and said- Delhi court instigated his community by giving a speech clever

New Delhi. The court has made strict remarks on Shaziil Imam, accused of riots in Delhi’s Jamia Millia Islamia University area. The Karkardooma Court of Delhi has decided that the Sharjil Imam cleverly gave a speech and provoked a particular community. Additional Sessions Judge Vishal Singh said that at that time all the people were upset with the flywheel jam, but the Sharjil Imam did not say anything about the communities other than his community in the speech. The court said that the Sharjil Imam provoked the same community in the case of flywheel jam. The court said that the Sharjil Imam was also the kingpin of the conspiracy of violence.

Additional Sessions Judge Vishal Singh, while framing charges against the Sharjil Imam, said that he openly created a feeling of hatred and anger in the minds of a community. The court said that the Sharjil Imam tried to incite violence in many states of North India with his speech. The court further said that the argument of the Sharjil Imam cannot be heard that the mob did not riot due to his speech. The court said that the accused Sharjil Imam provoked the mob for violence by giving a communal speech. The court said that the Sharjil Imam is a senior PhD student and he cleverly gave a speech. The court said that nothing can be peaceful with the flywheel jam. This also stops ambulances and there is a possibility of the patient’s death.

The case is going on under UAPA to make inflammatory speeches on the Sharjil Imam in the Delhi riot case.

Earlier, the Supreme Court refused to grant bail to the Sharjil Imam, saying that his bail application was pending in the Delhi High Court. At the same time, the Sharjil Imam said that he had filed the bail application in the Delhi High Court in the year 2022, but was postponed 64 times. On this, the Supreme Court had said that the Delhi High Court is allowed to urge the Delhi High Court on the bail application and the court will decide on it.
