New Delhi. The US is patting its back between India and Pakistan over ceasefire. The US claimed that it meditated the Indo-Pak and agreed to the ceasefire. However, it has already been clarified by the Indian Foreign Ministry that America has no role in ceasefire. Now Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has also denied America’s claim. Tharoor said that it could not be called mediation, it was a creative role. India never demanded arbitration from any country.
Congress MP Tharoor said that India’s Foreign Minister S.K. Jaishankar was also in constant contact with the US Secretary Marco Rubio along with the UAE, Britain and France’s foreign ministers. Similarly, the Foreign Minister of Pakistan was also talking to these countries. It is a common diplomatic process, in which both sides are made aware of. You cannot call it mediation at all. Let me tell you that India’s Foreign Secretary Vikram Egypt had held a press conference on the evening of April 10 that Pakistan’s Director General of Operations (DGMO) called the Indian DGMO at 35 minutes this afternoon. After this, the ceasefire was agreed between the two. The DGMOs of the two countries will re -talk on May 12.
At the same time, US President Donald Trump wrote on the social media post that after a full night talks in the mediation of the United States, it is happy to say that the India-Pakistan has agreed to the ceasefire. Trump also congratulated the leaders of the countries for this for using their intelligence. Prior to Trump’s tweet, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio also posted a similar post.
