Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said on Friday that he was a victim of raids conducted by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), accusing the investigating agency of being the “weapon” of BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Addressing a press conference, Raut spoke on the Supreme Court reprimanded by the Supreme Court for TASMAC raids in Tamil Nadu. Raut said, “What is new here? I am also suffering from (ED). I have passed away from it, I have passed many other people like me … ED is BJP, Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah’s weapon. As long as the ED is the ED and BJP, it is Modi and BJP …”
On the question of Rahul Gandhi to Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, Raut said that there is nothing wrong in this. He said that the people of the country believe that Pakistan cannot be trusted.
Raut said, “What is wrong in the question asked by Rahul Gandhi? This question is not only in the mind of every citizen of the country. This question is not only in the minds of BJP’s supporters. 1.4 billion people of the country will always believe that you cannot trust Pakistan. This is the first point. I was not. “He further said that Rahul Gandhi’s question is the same in the minds of the people.
He said, “We started a fight with Pakistan to end terrorism, but Trump stopped it. Trump harmed us. If Rahul Gandhi has asked this question, it is a question in the minds of the people. The third question they have asked, that is also right. Our blood is also correct, our blood flows in our veins, when the blood of patriotism flows in our veins. When the language of 26 women was erased, our blood was erased.” And also questioned Pakistan on the revenge taken by the country.
Raut said, “I have seen that the Prime Minister of Pakistan has said that he has avenged the defeat of 1971. They are using such language. What kind of revenge have you taken? During Prime Minister Modi’s tenure, Sharif is saying that he has taken revenge on 1971.
