New Delhi. Uddhav Thackeray -led Shiv Sena UBT leader has threatened to put a soot on the mouth of Congress MP Rahul Gandhi. In the case of Rahul Gandhi calling freedom fighter Veer Savarkar as forgiveness, the Congress MP is now being opposed in the Opposition’s Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance in Maharashtra. Bala Darade, vice president of the urban unit of Nashik of Shiv Sena UBT, has said that Rahul Gandhi will give a soot vessel on his face for the derogatory remarks made by Rahul Gandhi on freedom fighter Veer Savarkar. The UBT leader says that whatever the future of Maha Vikas Aghadi, we will not tolerate any person who insulted Veer Savarkar.
Bala Darade said that when Rahul Gandhi comes to Nashik, we will send his mouth black and if he is unable to do so, he will throw stones at his convoy. He said that Rahul Gandhi’s statement has hurt our feelings. We are proud that we live on the land of Veer Savarkar. However, Shiv Sena UBT spokesperson Sushma Andhare said that the statement made by Bala Darade is her personal opinion. His statement has nothing to do with the party. On the other hand, the Congress has retaliated the threat of the Shiv Sena UBT leader.
Maharashtra Congress President Harshvardhan Sapkal said that Baba Darade’s threat is cowardly. Rahul Gandhi’s grandmother late Indira Gandhi and her father late Rajiv Gandhi gave their lives for the country, the Congress and the party leadership is not afraid of such cowardly threats. The Congress leader said that whatever Rahul Gandhi said against Savarkar is historical references. There is nothing derogatory in this. Let us tell you that a defamation suit has also been done on Rahul Gandhi on Veer Savarkar. Rahul Gandhi has also been reprimanded by the Supreme Court.
