New Delhi. Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said in response to a question of the opposition asked in the Lok Sabha today, the Tamil Nadu government is not allowing the house to be built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The Union Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government has allotted a target to build houses of poor people in Tamil Nadu, but it has been more than a year, the Tamil Nadu government has not given approval to build 2.15 lakh houses. Despite the central government is giving money, the Tamil Nadu government is not sanctioning houses of the poor. This is the culmination of injustice, it is a deception of the poor.

Shivraj Chauhan further informed that the work of 3 lakh 10 thousand houses was not completed there, while his money has also been given by the central government. 308 crore rupees have been given by the central government, which is lying in the account of the Tamil Nadu government, despite this, the houses of the poor are not building nor are they approved for new houses. Shivraj Chauhan said that this is the reason that we are not able to give 50815 houses of the list of Housing Plus of 2018 to Tamil Nadu.
The Union Minister raised the question that what is the problem for the Tamil Nadu government with the construction of houses of the poor? Will Modi ji’s name be allowed to make a house to be built? Shivraj Chauhan said that in 2024, a survey was conducted to build a new house for poor houses from all over the country who had raw houses but the Tamil Nadu government has not given the survey till date. Shivraj Chauhan said that I folded hands with the Tamil Nadu government and pray that do not do injustice to the poor, approve their houses, survey so that the central government can build a house.
