Actually, Rahul Gandhi has meanwhile come under the target of BJP for two reasons. Recently Rahul Gandhi had gone to Maharashtra. At that time a book with red cover was distributed in his program. BJP alleges that the Constitution of India was written in English on the top of this book and the pages inside were blank. At the same time, when Rahul Gandhi had gone abroad recently, he had made this alleged statement that he would remove reservation if everything goes well in India. BJP is cornering him on both these issues. Besides, BJP has also raised the issue in Maharashtra and Jharkhand that it is not able to implement the promises made by Rahul Gandhi and Congress in Himachal Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka.
In fact, during the Lok Sabha elections, Rahul Gandhi had campaigned extensively that if BJP came to power again, it would abolish the Constitution. Now BJP is targeting Rahul Gandhi and Congress on the issue of Constitution itself. Every leader from PM Modi to Shivraj Singh Chouhan is raising such issues. Congress has to answer this. Congress has already said that Rahul Gandhi did not give any statement regarding ending reservation. Now Congress has started a war of words with BJP over the Constitution being written on a blank paper and promises not being fulfilled.
