Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla is returning to Earth on 14 July 2025 from the International Space Station (ISS), riding in Spacex’s Dragon spacecraft “Grace”. The process of his return has started under the Axiom-4 mission. The ignores is to be held at 4:35 pm.
After the 18-day mission, Shubhanshu and three other astronauts-Commander Paigi Whitson, Slavos Uznansky-Visnivski and Tibor Kapu-California will land around 3 pm on July 15 on the coast. Science and Technology Minister Jitendra Singh said that there may be an hour -long margin in these times.
Shubhanshu made more than 60 scientific experiments on ISS, including muscle loss, brain-computer interfaces, growing seeds of moong and fenugreek, and study on microalgy.
In a farewell speech, he reiterated Rakesh Sharma’s 1984 words, saying, “Today’s India looks ambitious, fearless, confident and proud from space. Today’s India still looks good from all where.” He said, “We meet on earth soon.”
The AXIOM-4 mission, which began from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on 25 June, symbolizes a return to space for India, Poland and Hungary after 40 years.
Shubhanshu, who was the pilot of the mission, led the seven experiments of India on the ISS, which are important for the Gaganyaan Mission. After the return, they will undergo a seven -day rehabilitation program to re -mourn the earth’s gravity. His father Shambhu Dayal Shukla said, “We are waiting for him to return safely.”
The mission is a milestone for India’s space program, which strengthens the goal of the Indian space station by 2035 and the Human Mission on the Moon by 2040.
