According to the newspaper Navbharat Times, the Election Commission will start special revision of voters across the country from August i.e. next month. The Election Commission has instructed the Chief Election Officers of all the states to prepare for this special revision.
For special revision of voters across the country, the Election Commission is also training the booth level officer i.e. BLO. The Election Commission wants to maintain authenticity in the voter list. The Election Commission has started a special revision program of voters in Bihar from 24 June. This campaign will run till 25 July. The Election Commission had said that by Friday, 66 percent of the voters had submitted and submitted the form for special revision. Although a petition was filed in the Supreme Court against special revision of voters in Bihar, the Supreme Court has refused to stop the Election Commission’s campaign. The case is now scheduled to be heard on July 28.

As part of the preparation of special revision of voters, the Chief Election Officers of Delhi, Uttarakhand, Haryana and Punjab have put the old voter list on the website of the State Election Commission. The old voter list is expected to be put on the website soon by the main election officials of the rest of the states. Earlier in most states, the voter list was made update between 2002 and 2004. Those who are named in the 2003 list in Bihar have to fill the form only. Whereas, those whose name is not in this list, they are a birth certificate, passport, board of births or university certificates, IDs of being a government employee, PPO, PPO, Post Office, LIC ID, ID of Post Office, LIC, Permanent Residence Certificate, Forest Rights Certificate, Caste Certificate, Caste Certificate, Caste Certificate, Caste Certificate, NRC’s Document, NRC, The certificate of the registry can give documents of the name recorded in the family register of the local authority.
