Sitaram Yechury admitted to ICU
Sitaram Yechury, the general secretary of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI-M), is currently admitted in the hospital. His condition is said to be critical. He has been shifted to the ICU after complaining of difficulty in breathing. Here the team of doctors is keeping an eye on his health. Let us tell you that Sitaram Yechury was admitted to AIIMS hospital in Delhi a few days ago. Meanwhile, in a statement issued by the CPIM, it was said that 72-year-old CPIM general secretary Sitaram Yechury has got an infection in his respiratory tract, due to which he had to face breathing difficulties.
Sitaram Yechury’s condition is serious
The statement said that he has been admitted to the ICU, where he is being treated and a team of doctors is keeping an eye on him. His condition is critical at the moment. Let us tell you that Sitaram Yechury was admitted to AIIMS on 19 August after complaining of chest pain. Earlier, Sitaram Yechury had undergone cataract surgery. Let us tell you that Sitaram Yechury is currently the General Secretary of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) and is an Indian politician. He was born on 12 August 1962.
Who is Sitaram Yechury?
If we talk about his education, he has done BA in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University and MM from Jawaharlal Nehru University. In 1974, he joined the Students Federation of India. After that, in 1975, he joined the Communist Party of India (Marxist). In 1984, he was included in the Central Committee of CPIM. After this, in the year 2015, he was made the General Secretary of CPIM. Since then, he has remained the General Secretary of the party.
