Delhi AIIMS gave a new update on Sitaram Yechury’s health.
New Delhi: General Secretary of Communist Party of India (Marxist) Sitaram Yechury is admitted in the hospital. Sitaram Yechury has been shifted to ventilator in Delhi AIIMS. Let us tell you that on Thursday night, Sitaram Yechury’s health deteriorated once again, after which he was shifted to ventilator in Delhi AIIMS. Yechury has a complaint in his lungs. A team of AIIMS doctors is treating him. Let us tell you that 77-year-old CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechury was admitted to AIIMS on 19 August. Later he was taken to ICU. He is being treated since then. On Thursday, his health deteriorated once again.
Doctors gave new update
Doctors of Delhi AIIMS have given a new update on the health of CPI(M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury. According to the information given by the hospital, Sitaram Yechury’s condition is still critical. He is on ventilator since yesterday. Sitaram Yechury’s treatment is going on in Delhi AIIMS. Doctors said that Sitaram Yechury was admitted to AIIMS on 19 August for the treatment of lung infection. He was admitted to AIIMS for the treatment of infection like pneumonia. Currently, a team of senior doctors of Delhi AIIMS is monitoring his health condition. Yechury also recently underwent cataract surgery.
Ongoing treatment of infection in the lungs
In fact, recently (31 August) the Communist Party of India (Marxist) had issued a press release stating that General Secretary Sitaram Yechury is undergoing treatment at AIIMS Delhi. Yechury is being treated by a team of special doctors of Delhi AIIMS. The party had said that he is being treated for respiratory infection. Let us tell you that Sitaram Yechury was admitted in the month of August for treatment of infection like pneumonia. However, the AIIMS doctors did not disclose his illness then.
