Every year during the cold season, western disturbances occur one after the other. Winds coming from the sea from Iran through Afghanistan and Pakistan hit the Himalayas and cause snowfall and rain. The weather department has already said that it is going to be very cold this year. According to the Meteorological Department, due to the effect of La Nina, it will be colder this year. Under La Nina effect, the sea surface temperature becomes lower than that of the land. Due to La Nina effect, there was more than average rainfall in the monsoon season of 2024.
