New Delhi: While the winter season in Delhi has broken the 74 -year record due to the summer, there is rain and snowfall in many states. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for rain and snowfall in several states for the next 48 hours. At the same time, the weather in Delhi-NCR also seems to be changed.
Alert for heavy rain and snowfall in these states
There is a possibility of heavy rains and snowfall at different places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir-Laddit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad and Uttarakhand on 28 February. Light rain may occur in Delhi, Rajasthan, western Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana today.
Strong winds will run here
The Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of light to moderate rain and snowfall in Arunachal Pradesh during the next 24 hours. On February 28, there may be thunderstorms in sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. Assam and Meghalaya are expected to blow strong winds at a speed of 30–40 km per hour on 28 February and 01 March.
These states are getting hot heat
The effect of heat is being seen in different areas in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa. There will be a lot of heat during the next 24 hours. There is no possibility of any significant change in the minimum temperature in northwest India during the next 2 days and then there will be a decline of 2-4 degrees Celsius gradually.
Snowfall alert in Himachal Pradesh
Himachal Pradesh may receive heavy rains and snowfall at different places in Mandi, Kangra, Kullu and Chamba districts on Friday. For this, the Meteorological Department has issued an ‘Orange’ alert. The department has issued a ‘Yellow Alert’, expressing his forecast of heavy snow in Lahaul-Spiti and heavy rains in Shimla district for the same period. The Meteorological Department has also predicted heavy rains in Una and Hamirpur districts.
How will the weather be in Delhi today
Mahesh Palawat, vice -president of Skymet Weather, said that due to cloudy and light drizzle in the capital Delhi, the minimum temperature is expected to decline again from today and remain stable by 3 or 4 March. According to Palawat, the new Western disturbance is likely to be active in the first week of March, which will change the air trend along with snowfall in the hills.
