New Delhi: After being admitted to AIIMS on March 9 due to heart -related diseases, many leaders including Sonia Gandhi and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee contacted Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, worrying about their health. Dhankhar himself revealed this in the Rajya Sabha on Monday.
Please tell that during the governor of West Bengal, there were many deep differences between Jagdeep Dhankhar and Mamta Banerjee. These differences between the Mamta government and the Governor House were also seen to be changing in the conflict, but it had no effect on the personal relationships of Dhankar and CM Mamta. The Vice President himself said that Mamta Banerjee and Sonia Gandhi were in touch with the family while being hospitalized.
‘The first person to contact the family was Nadda and Kharge’
After improvement in health, Dhankar presided over the proceedings of the House in the second phase of the budget session for the first time on Monday. He said that he is overwhelmed by the concerns expressed by the leaders of various parties and this contributed to his early health benefits. He said, “The leader of the House Jagat Prakash Nadda and the Leader of the Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge were the first to contact my family.” He said, “Sonia Gandhi and Chief Ministers of many states including Sonia Gandhi and West Bengal contacted my wife.” When Dhankhar mentioned this, Sonia Gandhi was present in the House.
PM Modi met in hospital
Dhankhar was admitted to AIIMS in the national capital on 9 March after cardiovascular diseases. He was discharged from the hospital on March 12 and was advised to take adequate rest. Dhankhar said in the Rajya Sabha on Monday that the concern raised by the members about his health is a ‘perception’ that ‘when such a situation comes, our hearts are connected. “He said,” It would be a source of inspiration and knowledge for me. “He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and others met him in the hospital and go to the skills. The Chairman said that many other people also wanted to come to the hospital but could not be possible due to restrictions. He said, “I (to all of them) express my gratitude.”
When TMC’s Derek O ‘Bryan calls
Dhankhar said that there was hardly anyone who had not shown concern about his health. The Chairman said that when he called the Trinamool Congress’s Derek O ‘Bryan to wish his birthday, the Trinamool leader advised him to rest. He said, “You remain silent, rest first.”
Monday was the first day after being discharged from the hospital when Dhankhar presided over the proceedings of the Rajya Sabha. Earlier, the House leader and Union Minister Nadda congratulated him on his early recovery and again thanked for starting the chairmanship of the Upper House. He wished Dhankhar’s good health and long life. Kharge also expressed some similar feelings. He said that he felt that the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha would not participate in the proceedings of the House for the next four-six days. Kharge said that it is a matter of pleasure for him to see the enthusiasm and dedication towards the work of Dhankar and to conduct the assembly so soon. (With language inputs)
