New Delhi. ISRO scientists have achieved another important achievement. India has become the fourth country in the world to successfully connect two spacecraft in space. ISRO scientists successfully connected the two spacecraft sent to space under the SpaDeX project some time ago. This is a proud moment for India’s space programme. ISRO first brought the vehicles closer to 15 meters and then 3 meters closer. After which the work of connecting Spadex vehicles was successful. Both the vehicles are stable and moving together in orbit.

ISRO had earlier prepared to connect the two vehicles on January 7 under the Spadex mission. During this period the deviation in vehicles had increased. Because of which ISRO fixed January 9 as the date for connecting the Spadex vehicles. On January 9, ISRO scientists were successful in bringing the vehicles at a distance of 3 meters, but that day the decision to connect the vehicles under the Spadex mission was canceled. ISRO scientists have been studying the data received from the vehicles since then. After studying the data, ISRO scientists brought the two vehicles sent under Spadex closer and then connected them.
SpaDeX Docking Update:

Earlier, only America, Russia and China had expertise in connecting vehicles in space. Now India’s name has also been associated with these countries. ISRO scientists are continuously making achievements for the country. ISRO scientists had also landed Chandrayaan on the Moon. Apart from this, Chandrayaan-1 sent by ISRO had also confirmed the presence of water on the surface of the moon. With the success of the Spadex mission, ISRO is also going to get help in the work of bringing samples from the lunar surface and building a space station through Chandrayaan-4. ISRO scientists are now busy in making the mission of sending humans into space successful.
