Letter to Speaker Om Birla against Rahul Gandhi.
CP Joshi, BJP MP from Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, has written a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla against Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi. In this letter, CP Joshi has requested to cancel Rahul Gandhi’s passport. MP CP Joshi has made the statements made by Rahul Gandhi abroad the basis of his demand. What did CP Joshi say?
In a letter written to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, BJP MP CP Joshi has said that Rahul Gandhi’s statements on foreign soil are in no way correct as a responsible Indian citizen. The MP said that Rahul Gandhi’s statements can affect the country’s internal stability and security of borders as well as international relations because he is misusing the position of Leader of the Opposition.
Demand for resignation from the post of Leader of Opposition
MP CP Joshi has said in his letter that Rahul Gandhi’s statements are not political but purely fall under the category of anti-national activities, which makes his conduct suspicious. Such baseless and tarnishing statements of the country cannot be seen under the ambit of freedom of expression, in such a situation it becomes necessary that Rahul should resign from an important post like the Leader of the Opposition.

Actually, Rahul Gandhi had recently visited America and other countries. Here he had made many statements about India which created a ruckus. BJP had accused Rahul Gandhi of defaming India abroad.
