There will be scorching heat this year

The month of March is about to end and most of the states of the country have started harassing heat. In North India, the temperature is steadily increasing and the temperature has crossed 30 degrees. In Odisha, the temperature has been recorded more than 40 degrees. Recently, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of running heatwave in the coming few days and people have been asked to be careful about the heat. The heatwave occurs when the maximum temperature of a weather center reaches at least 40 ° C, 37 degrees in coastal areas and 30 ° C in hilly areas and at least 4.5 ° C above normal.

There will be scorching heat this year

As soon as dawn, the sun is looking hot and the temperature is rising rapidly. The national capital Delhi was the hottest day of this season on Tuesday. The India Meteorological Department has predicted the scorching heat in northwest India this year. IMD scientist Soma Sen Roy said, “There is usually a period of heatwave for 5-6 days during the summer season, but this year there is a possibility of a slightly more heat than normal in the West and Central India in the summer season. He said that this year is expected to be 10 to 12, which is twice as usual.”

Stay ready to withstand heat

He further stated that this is a seasonal forecast and does not mean that all days of the weather will be more than normal. According to India Meteorological Department, be ready for more heat than normal this year. The Meteorological Department as well as the Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW) claims that the number of heatstrokes across the country including Delhi NCR during this summer may increase by 15 to 20 percent.
