Lauren Powell will reach Mahakumbh
Lauren Powell, wife of late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, will also attend Prayagraj Mahakumbh, one of the biggest events of Hinduism. She will reach Prayagraj today on 13th January. She has been given the Hindu name ‘Kamala’.
“This is the second time I have come to India”
Giving details of Lauren Powell’s journey and stay, spiritual guru Swami Kailashananda Ji Maharaj said, “They have given Lauren Powell a Hindu name Kamala. She is coming here to meet her Guruji. We have named her Kamala and she is our This is the second time she has come to India. She is coming for her personal program.”
Which gotra have you got?
Swami Kailashanand Ji Maharaj told that he was given a new name after getting the Gotra of his Guru. Lauren Powell has a keen interest in Sanatana Dharma and is like her daughter. He said that Lauren Powell has been given Achyuta-gotra.
“Will live like a monk”
Swami Kailashanand told that Lauren has come to India to meditate. He will be included in the Peshwai ritual of the Akhara. Lauren, who belongs to one of the richest families in the world, will live like a monk during the Mahakumbh. She will take Amrit Snan (Amrit Snan) during Amrit Snan (January 14) and Mauni Amavasya (January 29).
Lauren will stay in her guru’s camp
Please note that Lauren Powell is in Varanasi. She will reach Prayagraj today on the first day of Mahakumbh. She will stay in the camp of her guru Swami Kailashananda, who is Mahamandaleshwar of Niranjani Akhara. She will participate in many rituals of Mahakumbh till January 29. (with ANI inputs)
