According to the police, both sides pelted stones at each other. Fierce slogans were also made. According to Guna SP Sanjeev Kumar Sinha, some people have been injured in stone pelting. He said that the disturbers have been identified and strict action will be taken.

A large number of police were sent to the spot as soon as the information about the disturbance was received in Colonelganj of Guna. The police took immediate action and controlled the situation. According to the Guna administration, the situation has been normalized. People have been asked not to pay attention to any rumor. The procession of Hanuman Jayanti came out of Kolhu Pura. The procession was going towards Rapta and Haat Road. On Saturday night, when the procession reached the Colonelganj Mosque, there was a dispute. It is alleged that stones started running from the other side during the ruckus. Some people running in the procession also checked at Hanuman Chowk. He demanded strict action against stones.

Late in the night, the police assured that action would be taken against those who pelted stones on the procession. After which the atmosphere calmed down. The police have registered a case against 15-20 people in this case. Guna Collector Kishore Kumar Kanyal told the media that strict action will be taken against the culprits. He said that the situation was controlled. At present, police has been deployed on the spot. There have been reports of stone pelting in many places in the country on Hanuman Jayanti and other Hindu festivals. This time anti -social elements tried to spoil the situation in Guna.
