New Delhi. The latest statement of NR Narayan Murthy’s wife and teachers of Rajya Sabha MP Sudha Murthy, one of the founders of Infosys, may sparked a debate. Sudha Murthy said during a discussion in the Rajya Sabha on the functioning of the Ministry of Education that a new training course should be brought for the teachers. Also, Sudha Murthy said that teachers should also be examined every 3 years. Sudha Murthy said that teachers have an important role in the field of education. He said that the system of teachers without information cannot change. Please tell that Sudha Murthy’s husband NR Narayan Murthy had suggested to work 70 hours every week. On which the atmosphere in social media was heated.
Regarding the teachers, Sudha Murthy said that when they pass BA, MA or PhD, they come into the system. After that the teachers do not have to take any exam till retiring. Sudha Murthy said that this should not happen. He said that every three years teachers should know new technical and new information. They should be tested for this. Otherwise teachers cannot improve. Sudha Murthy said that you can get a great school built, but if the teachers are not good, then such schools are not of any use. He said that the teachers play an important role with their education. He said that teaching is an art. Where the teachers do this work by getting angry, sometimes as friends, explaining to children.
Sudha Murthy said that teachers have to go through many training, but there is no examination for them. He said that such arrangements should be made to take the exam to the teacher every 3 years.
