Congress Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar said on Monday that the time has come to reconsider the decision of the Supreme Court, stating that prior approval would be required to prosecute the top court and High Court judges. He also questioned the delay in registering an FIR in the cash coverage case related to the High Court Judge Justice Verma Yashwar.
He also described the step of seizing electronic equipment from witnesses by an internal committee of three judges investigating the case as a “serious issue”. “This is a serious issue. How can it be done?” Emphasizing the need for scientific criminal investigation of the case, Dhankhar said that everyone in the country is wondering if this matter will be erased, will it fade over time.
