New Delhi. The Election Commission has abolished the special revision of voters in Bihar. Now the Election Commission is going to release the draft voter list on 1 August. Objections can be filed on the draft voter list by 31 August. After which the new voter list of Bihar will be released on 30 September. How much will the Election Commission plan be offered, it lasts in the Supreme Court on the hearing on Monday i.e. on Monday. The Supreme Court had refused to ban the special revision of voters in the last hearing, but raised the question as to why special revision of voters is being done before the Bihar assembly elections.
Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR), RJD MP Manoj Jha and petitioner Yogendra Yadav have raised all the questions before hearing in the Supreme Court on the revision of voters in Bihar. While ADR quoted media reports, the Supreme Court has said that the BLO itself has done special revision work there. At the same time, Manoj Jha has said in the court that in many places the BLO has filled the form itself. Apart from this, he has alleged that the form of voter revision in the name of dead persons has been filled. Manoj Jha has also accused the Election Commission that such people have received a message to fill the form, who have not filled any form.
The bench of Justice Sudhanshu Dhulia and Justice Jayamalya Bagchi in the Supreme Court will hear on Monday in view of all these allegations. At the same time, the Election Commission has already denied all the allegations. The Election Commission has already filed its reply in the Supreme Court. The Election Commission has cited Articles 324 and 326 of the Constitution, stating that it has the right to see the citizenship of the voter. He also says that it is his responsibility to keep the intruders of other countries away from the election process. Along with this, the Election Commission has also given its responsibility to give the right to vote to every qualified voter. The Election Commission has also decided in the past that special revision of voters will be done across the country.
