Petition Against Udaipur Files: After Jamiat, now an accused of Kanhaiyalal murder filed in the Supreme Court, plea to stop the release of the film 'Udaipur files' on this basis, Kanhaiya Lal Murder Case Accused Moves Files

New Delhi. The Supreme Court has refused to lift the ban on the release of the film ‘Udaipur Files’. A petition was filed in the Supreme Court against the Delhi High Court’s decision on behalf of the producers of Udaipur files. A bench of Supreme Court Justice Suryakant and Justice Jayamalya Bagchi heard the petition on Wednesday. Justice Suryakant asked the Central Government panel to take a quick decision about the release of Udaipur files. Maulana Arshad Madani, president of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind in the Delhi High Court, filed a petition to stop the release of Udaipur files. After hearing this, the High Court had stayed the release of the film and asked the central government to take a decision under the Cinematography Act.

In the Supreme Court, a bench of Justice Suryakant said that they do not have the right to release which film should be released and which is not. The court said that this right is with the government. The Supreme Court told the central government that it should also listen to the arguments of the accused of killing Kanhaiyalal. The Supreme Court said that at the behest of the Delhi High Court, the Central Government has formed a panel in the Udaipur files case. The court said that when the panel sees the film, only then the government can move forward. Justice Suryakant and Justice Jayamalya Bagchi said that the film’s release will continue to be banned at the moment. It has to be seen what the central government says about the Udaipur files in the Delhi High Court.

The Supreme Court said that if the government says in the Delhi High Court that there is nothing wrong in Udaipur files, then the court will consider it. If a scene has to be cut, it will also have to be seen. The court said that the Delhi High Court has not said anything about the content of Udaipur files. He has told the petitioners so much that he should go to the central government. Following this instruction of the Delhi High Court, Maulana Arshad Madani, president of Jamiat, reported to the central government to stop the release of the film. In the Supreme Court hearing today, the producers of Udaipur files said that their film was to be released on July 11. He also argued that the film can now have piracy. However, the Supreme Court did not notice his arguments.
