The Supreme Court on Friday changed its disputed order of August 8 and now the dogs living on the road will be released back at the same place after vaccination and sterilization. This decision leads to an atmosphere of happiness among the lovers of animals. However, rabies or aggressive dogs will be placed in separate shelters and will be given vaccine.
Stray dogs will be released again after sterilization and vaccine
The Supreme Court said, “Stopping the dogs on the road should be stopped. They should be sent to the same area after sterilization and vaccine.” The court expanded the matter across India and decided to hold a complete hearing to formulate a national policy.
The three -judge bench Justice Vikram Nath, Justice Sandeep Mehta and Justice NV Anjaria had made several changes in the August 8 order. In that order, the municipal corporations of Delhi-NCR were instructed to hold all stray dogs in eight weeks and keep them in special shelters.
Dogs are not allowed to feed publicly
The Supreme Court also clarified that dogs would not be allowed to feed food in public, and action would be taken against those who violate it. The court said that special feeding spaces will be made for dogs living on the road.
