New Delhi. BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has reacted to this amid a controversy on the remarks recently directed by the Supreme Court to the President. He says that if the law itself is enacted by the Supreme Court, then the Parliament House should be closed. Earlier, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankad had strictly said that we cannot create a situation where the courts should direct the President. Dhankad described Article 142 as a nuclear missile present round the clock with the judiciary against democratic forces. After this, Congress leaders retaliated on Dhankad’s statement.
Explain that the Supreme Court had ordered a petition filed by the Tamil Nadu government and said that the Governor will have to take a decision on the bill sent by the Legislative Assembly within a month. The Supreme Court also set a time limit for the President and said that the President would have to decide on a bill in 3 months. The Supreme Court had clearly stated that the governor does not have veto power. Angered on this, Vice President Jagdeep had said that by setting a deadline for the President, the Supreme Court has crossed the limits of encroachment under the jurisdiction of both the executive and the legislature.
Recently, after mentioning the cash seizure case of Delhi High Court judge Yashwant Verma, Dhankad said that if the cash was found in the judge’s house, then the FIR did not happen. In this way, the judiciary will become such a super parliament on which no law of the country will apply. Reversing the statement of Dhankad, Congress leader Rashid Alvi had said that we respect the Vice President, but the Supreme Court has the right in the Constitution that if any constitutional post person holds his limits, then he should be stopped. At the same time, Congress leader and President of Supreme Court Bar Association Kapil Sibal had said that when the government does not like any decision, they start questioning the judiciary.
