The State Investigation Agency (SIA) of Jammu and Kashmir filed a charge sheet in November 2023 in the case of a grenade attack on a temple in Surankot. The officers provided this information.
He said that the charge sheet included the names of Abdul Aziz, a resident of Hari Safeda of Surankot and Nazir Ahmed alias Naziru alias Ali Khan, a terrorist living in Pakistan.
Nazir is originally from Hari Safeda village.
SIA officials said that according to the investigation, Aziz carried out a grenade attack on 15 November 2023 on the instructions of Ahmed.
He said Nazir had moved to Pakistan in 2001, where he joined the banned terrorist organization Hizbul Mujahideen and later joined the Jammu and Kashmir Ghaznavi Force (JKGF).
