New Delhi. Every person wants to provide good education to their children, but the ever -increasing fees in private schools remain a matter of great concern for parents. A shocking thing has come to light in a survey on the fees of private schools. According to the survey of an organization called Localcircles, many private schools across the country have increased by about 50 to 80 percent in the last three years. Most private schools are increasing the fees of 10 to 15 percent every year. People have made education a profitable business.
During its survey of localcircles, more than 85 thousand parents in more than 300 districts across the country spoke to parents and concluded on the same basis. The survey stated that 42 percent of the parents say that the fees of more than 50 percent were increased in their children’s schools, while 26 percent of the parents also claimed that their children have increased the fees in the school.
Most of the private schools are such that in addition to tuition fees, they are also taking charge from parents which were never taken before. Building maintenance fees in extra charges, technology fees in the name of digital learning, similarly all other types of maintenance fees are also being recovered from parents. According to parents, despite paying so much fees, the level of education in schools is decreasing. Many times there are reports when private schools sometimes loose books in the name of books, sometimes in the name of school uniform or by putting an extra charge. Many times the voice has been raised by the parents about this matter, but the parents have to finally bow down in front of the choice of private schools.
