The death of Indian woman Atulya Shekhar, who lives in Sharjah, has been confirmed as suicide. According to the police report of the police, he hanged himself. This information was given by social activist Abdullah Kamampalam. He said that this report has been submitted by the authorities to the family and it has clearly written that the cause of death is suicide.
Atulya, who was a resident of Kerala, was found dead in her flat in Rolla area of Sharjah on the morning of 19 July. The incident is on the next day of his 30th birthday. She was living in Sharjah for the last two years and was about to start a new job in a mall. He celebrated his birthday with his sister.
After this incident, Atulya’s parents have filed a complaint against her husband in Kerala. He has been made serious allegations like physical violence, dowry harassment and murder. Now the police is investigating. Kamampalam said that preparations are being made to send Atulya’s body back to Kerala.
