New Delhi. A statement has been issued by the US regarding Tahwwur Rana. The US has revealed the secret chat between Tahwwur Rana and David Coleman Headley. According to the chat, Tahwwur Rana had told his partner David Coleman Headley after the terrorist attacks in Mumbai that Indians used to deny it. Not only this, he also praised the terrorists who attacked in Mumbai. Rana wanted to give Pakistan’s highest honor ‘Nishan-e-Saidar’ to the terrorists killed in the attack. The honor ‘Nishan-e-Haider’ honor gives his martyred soldiers in Pakistan war.
The US Department of Justice says, as President Trump has said, the US and India will continue the fight against terrorism, under the same, Rana has been extradited to India, showing solidarity. The US said that the US is committed to bringing people involved in terrorist attacks into the dock of justice. Let us know that 10 Pakistani terrorists were involved in the 26/11 attack in Mumbai. Out of these, 9 terrorists were killed while a terrorist Ajmal Kasab was successful in catching them alive. Later, Kasab got a case and was sentenced to death in 2012.
On the other hand, the NIA team has probably started interrogation of Tahwwur Rana. Rana has been brought from America to India yesterday. Rana was arrested by the NIA at the airport under UAPA. He was then taken before the special court of NIA from where the court gave the remand of 18 days to the NIA. Lawyer has also been provided to Tahwwur Rana on behalf of Delhi Legal Cell. Piyush Sachdeva has been appointed to fight the case on behalf of Tahwwur Rana. While Narendra Mann will fight the case on behalf of NIA.
