New Delhi. The Gujarat ATS has busted a gang of cyber criminals while taking action against cyber attacks. The ATS has also arrested a cyber criminal named Jasim Shahnawaz Ansari from Nadiad in Gujarat. It is alleged that after the commencement of Operation Sindoor, he carried out more than 50 cyber attacks. The age of the captured cyber criminal is just 18 years old. According to the ATS, Ansari formed a group of teenagers like him and launched cyber attacks on the website of defense, finance, aviation, urban development and various government departments.
Investigations revealed that between April and May 2025, these people carried out more than 50 cyber attacks on several government websites in India. Ansari was arrested on the basis of intelligence collected by Gujarat ATS during monitoring. The ATS arrested him on Monday. Officials found in investigation that Ansari and his associates formed a telegram group called ‘anonsek’, where they planned and carried out the DDOS (distributed Daniel of Service) attacks designed to crash websites through traffic.

Ansari learned Python Programming through YouTube and downloaded hacking tools from Githab. Using these tools of mobile apps like Termux and Pydroid carried out cyber attacks. He then used to share videos of cyber attacks through platforms like Checkhost.net and then shares the screenshot in the ANONSEC group. It often consisted of anti -India messages. This group of youth with anti -India ideology often changed the name of their group and shared posts that promote anti -India sentiments along with cyber attacks.
