Telangana Caste Survey: Now Telangana government is going to conduct caste survey in November, know what happened when Nitish Kumar conducted it in Bihar?, Congress govt of Revanth Reddy in Telangana to do caste survey in November know what happened in bihar

Hyderabad. After Bihar, now Telangana government is going to conduct caste survey. Telangana government minister Ponnam Prabhakar gave this information on Wednesday. Caste survey will be conducted by the Telangana government from November 6 to November 30. Ponnam Prabhakar told that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had asked CM Revanth Reddy to conduct a caste survey. Telangana government is getting it done on the instructions of Rahul Gandhi. Telangana government minister Ponnam Reddy also said that Congress had promised to conduct a caste survey during the assembly elections. He said that after the formation of Congress government at the Centre, caste survey will be conducted across the country.

The special thing about the decision of the Congress government of Telangana to conduct a caste survey is that just two days ago there were reports in the media that the Modi government at the Center is going to conduct the census from 2025. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has raised the issue of caste for a long time. He along with other opposition leaders is demanding the central government to conduct caste census. In every census conducted till now, information about Scheduled Castes, Tribes and OBCs has been collected. The demand of Congress and opposition parties is that the census should find out the population of each caste and accordingly they should be given a share in government schemes.

Let us tell you that earlier, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar had released the data after conducting a caste survey. After this, Nitish Kumar had also passed a bill in the Bihar Assembly to increase the reservation according to the data of this caste survey, but first the Patna High Court and then the Supreme Court put a stay on the efforts of the Nitish Kumar government to increase the reservation. In fact, the Supreme Court had said in an important decision that reservation cannot be more than 50 percent. If more than 50 percent reservation is to be given, the government will have to amend the Constitution.
