The temperature in many cities has crossed 40 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra will have a scorching heat from April 25 to 29 and the heat is likely to run.

Mercury reached 40 degrees in Delhi

The national capital Delhi and NCR are getting scorching heat. In many areas of Delhi, the temperature has crossed 40 degrees. During the last 24 hours, 41.3 degrees were recorded in Ridge area of ​​Delhi, 40.6 in Ayyanagar, 39.7 in Palam, 39.6 in Safdarjung and 39.4 degrees on Lodhi Road.

Warning of heat stroke in these states

According to the Meteorological Department, heat wave is likely at different places in western Madhya Pradesh during 25-30 April. During the 25-30, Rajasthan has been issued an alert of Heatway in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh on April 25-27, Uttar Pradesh, Vidarbha, Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Punjab, Haryana, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada on 25-26 April. The maximum temperature in Northeast India, Rajasthan, Gujarat is likely to be 1-3 degrees Celsius above normal.

Alert of heavy rain in these states

Heavy rains are expected in Assam and Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh during April 25-27. Nagaland, Mizoram and Tripura may receive heavy rains during 25–26 April. There is a possibility of very heavy rains in Assam and Meghalaya on 26 April.

Strong winds will run here

There is a possibility of thunderstorms, power and strong winds in Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Rayalaseema, Kerala and Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal during the next 24 hours. Eastern India and eastern Uttar Pradesh are likely to blow thunder, electricity and strong winds at a speed of 40-50 kmph during 26-29 April. There is a possibility of hailstorm in Jharkhand on 27 and 28 April and Odisha on 28 April.

During the 26-28, there is a possibility of thunderstorms in Bihar (at a speed of 50-60 kmph) in Bihar and thunderstorms may occur in the Ganges’ plains of West Bengal, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Eastern Madhya Pradesh and South Interior Karnataka on 27th April on 27th and 28th.
