The benefit of Mahila Samman Yojana will only give CM Rekha Gupta to women of poor families of Delhi. The number of these women is likely to be 18-19 lakhs. According to the Delhi government, only one woman of every poor eligible family will be given Rs 2500 every month under the honor amount. According to media reports, to take advantage of Mahila Samman Yojana, the annual income of the beneficiary’s family should be less than Rs 3 lakh. Apart from this, the benefit of Mahila Samman Yojana will not be given for taking advantage of other government schemes. Even if a member of the family does a government job, the woman will not be considered eligible. Apart from this, the age of the beneficiary should be between 21 and 60 years. Because old age pension is given to elders above 60 years of age.
At the same time, according to information received from sources, to take advantage of Mahila Samman Yojana, the beneficiary must also have a PAN card, Aadhaar card and bank account. Through DBT, an amount of Rs 2500 of Mahila Samman Yojana will be transferred to the beneficiary’s bank account every month. If at any time it was found that the beneficiary has given wrong information to the Delhi government to take the Mahila Samman Yojana, then the entire amount given earlier will also be recovered.
