Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday that the pseudo -war will not be used by the terrorists and the bullets will be answered with cannon goals. He said that ‘Sindoor’ has become a symbol of valor after India’s reaction after the Pahalgam terror attack. He also described Operation Sindoor as the biggest and most successful anti -terrorism campaign in the history of the country.
Speaking at the ‘Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Women Empowerment Maha Sammelan’ on the occasion of the 300th birth anniversary of the Great Rani in Bhopal, Modi said, “Through decisive reply, India has given a message that pseudo -war will not work by terrorists. Nari Shakti has become a symbol of resistance to our valor and terrorism today.” Modi said, “If you fire bullets, then be sure that they will be answered with cannon balls.”
He said, “India is a country of culture and traditions and vermilion is a symbol of female power in our tradition. Hanuman ji also applies vermilion in Rama devotion. We offer vermilion in Shakti Puja. This vermilion has become a symbol of valor.” Earlier this month, the Indian armed forces carried out missile attacks on nine terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir under Operation Sindoor. The operation was performed two weeks after the massacre of 26 civilians in Pahalgam, Kashmir. The mark of vermilion or vermilion is a symbol of the marital status of Hindu women and on April 22, it was used vigorously as the name of the operation after the Pahalgam massacre.
Modi said, “In Pahalgam, the terrorists not only shed the blood of Indians, but also attacked our culture. They tried to divide our society and the biggest thing is that they challenged the women power of India.” He said, “This challenge has raised the bell of death for terrorists and their bosses. Operation is the biggest and most successful operation in India’s history against vermilion terrorists. While the Pakistani army could not even imagine, our army destroyed terrorist bases.”
Talking about the Nari Shakti Vandan Act, which is also known as the Women’s Reservation Bill, which aims to reserve one -third of the total seats in Lok Sabha and State Assembly, PM said, “This time, 75 women have become members of Parliament. Our effort is to increase this number.” This is the feeling behind the Women Shakti Vandan Act. He said that women’s reservation in Parliament and state assemblies was pending for a long time, but now it has been achieved. He said, “This means that the BJP government is empowering our sisters and daughters at every level and in every field.”
He also said that the world is seeing the ability of India’s daughters in the defense sector today. He said, “The government has taken several steps in the last decade to achieve this goal. From school to battlefield, today the country has unprecedented confidence in the bravery of its daughters.” Referring to Lieutenant Commander Rupa A and Dilna, who recently returned to India by traveling around the world in a sailing boat, the PM said that two brave daughters of the Navy completed the 250 -day journey. He said, “He travels around the earth by traveling thousands of kilometers in a boat which does not run by motor but with air. Imagine how it would be in the sea for 250 days.”
He also praised Ahilyabai Holkar and described him as the patron of India’s heritage. He said that when the temples and pilgrimage sites of the country were being attacked, they protected them. He said, “Our government is working on the mantra of ‘Citizen Deo Bhava’, which was the philosophy of Ahilyabai Holkar.” Rani Ahilyabai Holkar was born on 31 May 1725 in Chaondi village of Ahilyanagar, Maharashtra. He ruled the Malwa region of Central India from 1767 to 1795 as the queen of the Holkar dynasty in the Maratha Empire.
He said, “When we talk about the marriageable age of girls, some people of the country see secularism in danger. They feel that it is against our religion. But Goddess Ahilyabai thought about the marriageable age of girls at that time.”
Modi said, “They were married at an early age. They knew the way for the progress of girls. In the Malwa army, they created a special battalion of women.
He said, “When the country was caught in the chains of slavery 250-300 years ago, it was not easy to do something that the generations to come. But Goddess Ahilyabai did so. She never separated God’s devotion from the service of people.” She said, she was the great patron of India’s legacy. When temples and pilgrimage sites were being attacked, they took initiative to reconstruct and conserve their rebuilding and protection.
He said, “I consider myself lucky that the same Kashi has given me a chance to serve. When you come to Kashi today, you will get marks of Ahilyabai’s work. He made a model of governance in which the poor and the underprivileged were given priority.” Earlier, Modi issued a memorial postage stamp and a coin of Rs 300 on the occasion of his birth anniversary.
