The Congress party has urged the international community to understand and support India’s attitude on terrorism arising from Pakistan, party president Mallikarjun Kharge said on Thursday.
Citing many loans and bailout packages given to Pakistan in recent months, Kharge claimed that he would be spent on his army, he rejected any attempt to consider “terrorism’s criminal” “Pakistan as a victim of terrorism”.
Kharge said in a post on X, “Pakistan is a criminal of terrorism. India is a victim of terrorism. They cannot be equal. They should not be kept together.”
Criticizing the recently sanctioned loans and packages for Pakistan by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Kharge said that these funds will be used on the wicked army of Pakistan, which will be used to spread terror on Indians.
He also criticized the nomination of Pakistan as the Vice President of the Anti -Terrorism Committee of the 15 -member United Nations Security Council and the Taliban Ban Committee for 2025 and described it as “the most unfortunate, misinformation based and unacceptable”.
Kharge urged the international community to understand India’s demand to re -put Pakistan in the gray list of Financial Action Work Force (FATF), as well as urged the Government of India to take appropriate diplomatic action to resolve differences between the two countries on the global platform.
It was written in his post, “The international community should see India in this case that Pakistan should be included back to the Gray list of FATF to monitor terrorism.”
Talking about the gray list of FATF, Kharge said that Pakistan has been in this list in three times, 2008, 2012 and 2018, of which twice has been under the Central Government led by former Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Kharge said in his post, “It is necessary to make Pakistan accountable to its sins not only for India, but also for the interests of the international community. It would probably be appropriate to remind that the most wanted terrorist Osama bin Laden responsible for 9/11 was found and killed in Pakistan.
Earlier today, Congress leader Pawan Kheda condemned the international community for “constantly legalizing Pakistan sponsored terrorism”, and Pakistan criticized the United Nations Security Council Committee and receiving loans from international banks and funds.
Kheda also said that giving loans to Pakistan and its role in the United Nations Security Council Committee also shows India’s “Foreign Policy”.
Kheda said in a post on X, “On June 4, Pakistan will be elected chairman of the UNSC Taliban Ban Committee and Vice President of the UNSC Anti -Terrorism Committee. Of course, this is a tragic story of the decline of our foreign policy, but how can the global community allow Pakistan to constantly legitimize sponsorship of terrorism.”
Pakistan is headed by the Taliban Ban Committee of the United Nations Security Council in 2025, which is responsible for the ban, property seizure, travel restriction and arms restrictions against people associated with Taliban or organizations. The country will also work as the vice -president of the anti -terrorism committee this year, which was established in the US after the September 11 attacks. The committee consider implementing various measures to combat terrorist activities around the world.
After India’s reaction to the heinous terrorist attacks in Pahalgam, in which 26 people were killed, India maintained international diplomatic reach after Operation Sindoor, and sent many MPs from various political parties to many capitals of the world.
