Why do earthquakes occur?
The incidence of earthquakes has increased significantly in recent times all over the world including India. Actually, there are 7 tectonic plates within our earth. These plates keep rotating in their place continuously. However, these plates sometimes collide at fault lines, causing friction. The energy released from this friction finds a way out. For this reason, earthquake incidents are seen on earth. (input language)
