The intensity of this earthquake was recorded at 3.5 on the Richter scale. Earlier, there was a low -intensity earthquake at 7.41 am. Its intensity was recorded at 2.7 on the Richter scale.
The shock of the second earthquake in Uttarkashi was extremely strong. This can be gauged from the fact that the landslide of Varunavat mountain also started falling from the possible area. People came out of their homes due to fear.
