Ramadan 2025: The month of Ramadan has started from today. On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has greeted the beginning of Ramadan month. He said that as soon as the month of holy Ramadan is starting, it should bring peace and harmony in our society. 9th month Ramadan
Explain that the month of Ramadan is of special importance in Islam religion. In this month, people of the Muslim community fasten and worship God. It is considered one of the five pillars of Islam and is the 9th month of the year.
Why is this month special?
According to Islamic belief, this month, the landing of the Holy Book Quran also started from one night of this month. This night is called ‘Layatul Kadra or Shab-e-Kadra’. Since this night, the Quran continued to come down in a series of the Prophet Mohammad (Sall.) Until he had a stance from his world. The verses of the Quran were destroyed on the Prophet Mohammed on different occasions.
Month of Magafirat
The month of Ramadan is started by looking at the moon and then the end also after seeing the moon. After the end of Ramadan, the people of the Muslim community celebrate the festival of Eid-ul-Fitr. Muslims consider this month as the month of worship and respect it very much. All Muslims are engaged in preparations before the beginning of this month. This month is also called Magafirat i.e. the month of apology.
