New Delhi. Senior NCP (Ajit Pawar faction) leader Baba Siddiqui was shot dead in Mumbai on Saturday night. Uttar Pradesh’s connection has now come to light in this sensational murder case. The names of sharp shooters whose names are being taken prominently after the murder include Dharamraj Kashyap and Shivkumar Gautam alias Shiva. Both the sharp shooters are said to be residents of Gandara village in Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh. It is also being told that both were living in Mumbai and Pune for the last few years, but there is no clear information on when and how they came in contact with Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
What did Dharamraj Kashyap’s mother say?
While talking to the media, Kusuma, mother of shooter Dharamraj Kashyap, who was involved in this massacre, said, “My son Dharamraj is a resident of Gandara village of Bahraich. I had no knowledge about this murder, I came to know about all this when the police came to our house.” He further informed that his son was living in Mumbai for two months, and he had gone to Pune in connection with the scrap business. Kusuma said, “Dharamraj is the youngest of my five sons and I am shocked to hear that he could be involved in such a crime.”

Meanwhile, Suman, mother of the second accused Shivkumar Gautam alias Shiva, said, “We came to know about this incident in the morning and I am shocked to know this. My son used to work as a scrap worker in Pune and he never had any dispute with anyone.” Suman expressed doubt over her son’s involvement in the murder and said that Shiva was not the kind of person who could carry out such an incident.

Mohammad Hasnain, head of Gandara village, said that the police and crime branch are thoroughly investigating the matter. He said, “Dharamraj had gone to Mumbai about two months ago and Shiva was living in Pune for seven-eight months. He rarely talked to the village on phone. “We cannot say whether these people are actually guilty or victims of some conspiracy.”
