Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee, who is part of the all -party parliamentary delegation on a tour of Malaysia, said on Sunday that the next dialogue with Pakistan should be done only when Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (POK) should be rectified.
Talking to Indian migrants in Kuala Lumpur, Banerjee said, “We have been talking together for decades, even if there have been changes in various paradigms and governments. But one thing always persists, that is the struggle with Pakistan.” Banerjee, who was involved in a delegation led by JD (U) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Kumar Jha, said, “What happened on April 22, in which 26 people were shot dead only on their religion and gender … I want the ruling party to discuss only the withdrawal of Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir with Pakistan. Otherwise, these terrorist attacks will continue.”
India has made it clear that any conversation with Pakistan will be held only on terrorism and POK. During the conversation with the migrant community, members of the Jha -led delegation made India aware of India’s theoretical and firm attitude against terrorism.
He informed the participants about the across the border terrorism, especially the cowardly terrorist attacks in Pahalgam, which has affected India for decades. In briefing, the reference and background of Operation Sindoor and India’s firm policy of fighting terrorism were also discussed.

Kuala Lumpur -based Indian High Commission posted on X, “The migrant members were encouraged to share the message on various communities and forums. The conversation heard the voices of Indian migrant members, including people from the Malaysian Indian Muslim community, who clearly condemned the terrorist attacks across the border.”
Banerjee said that after the April 22 attack, India waited for two weeks that Pakistan would do justice and punish criminals, but nothing happened. After fourth day India attacked Pakistan and destroyed nine terrorist structures. He said, “We have all the evidences in public. Photos are on social media – The officials of the highly posted Pakistani Army are seen in the funeral of the Pakistani Army?”
He requested the migrant community to spend 3-4 days in Kashmir when he comes to India.
Banerjee said, “Through these attacks, they wanted to paralyze our economy. So now we are responsible for us to vice versa and make sure that Kashmir is fluffy and rich. My humble appeal is to spend 3-4 days in Kashmir to support the local people and promote tourism and local economy next time.”
He said, “Those who are away from India represent us more strongly than us. You hoist the tricolor with more pride than us on foreign soil.”
He said, “We will be the last people who talk about war, violence and terrorist attacks. Pakistan has a habit of playing the victim card after the terrorist attack …. They have the habit of doing diplomacy with one hand and then joining pseudo -terrorist organizations with one hand and spreading trigger by spreading terror on Indian earth and Indians. This is not going to happen anymore.”
The delegation also interacted with the Indian National Army (INA) retired soldier SP Narayanasamy, who was part of the INA’s child army, and thanked him for his solidarity against the problem of terrorism.
