New Delhi. A suspicious unclaimed bag found near RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal, created a sensation in the area. This bag was found near the stage of protesters going on in front of the hospital, where resident doctors were engaged in their protest. As soon as the information was received, the bomb squad was called on the spot, after which the bag was examined. The matter of relief was that only a water bottle and some clothes were found in the bag. The police is now trying to find out who left this bag there and why. RG Kar Medical College has been in the news recently due to many controversies. On August 9, the body of a 31-year-old trainee female doctor was recovered in a naked state from the seminar hall of this college. Tension had increased in the hospital after the body of the doctor was found in a blood-soaked condition and with injury marks on her body. This incident created a wave of anger among the resident doctors of the hospital, due to which they went on strike.
Investigation is also going on against the former principal
After this incident, the Enforcement Directorate is also investigating the former principal of RG Kar Medical College for financial irregularities. The ED team is continuously conducting raids in this case. The police have arrested an accused named Sanjay Roy in this case. Sanjay used to work as a civic volunteer in Kolkata Police. It is being told that the accused entered the seminar hall from the back door and raped the female doctor and then killed her. This incident has given rise to deep resentment among the hospital staff and doctors.

The 31-year-old trainee doctor was on night duty on the day the incident took place. That night she had dinner with her three other colleagues, including two doctors and a hospital staff. After dinner, she went to sleep in the seminar hall at around 2 am. The accused entered from the back door and committed this heinous crime.
