Aircraft parked due to technical fault

According to sources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s plane was parked at Deoghar Airport after it developed a technical fault. The process of eliminating the fault of the aircraft is ongoing. Until the problem is resolved, the plane will remain parked at the airport. After this he also held a public meeting in Chakai of Jamui.

What is the protocol in such a situation?

Special safety and operational protocols are implemented in the event of a technical glitch on the Prime Minister’s aircraft. First, to ensure the safety of the Prime Minister, the airport is declared a high-security zone and the SPG is alerted. The engineering team immediately begins an investigation to resolve the technical problem, and if immediate resolution of the problem is not possible, alternative aircraft or travel arrangements are made. Air Traffic Control (ATC) directs other flights to stop or divert, while coordination is done by informing the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and local administration.
