According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the plains of North India including Delhi and UP are expected to have a scorching heat for the next two days. IMD said that in the next two days, the temperature in the plains of North India may rise by 2-3 degrees. However, there is a possibility of relief for a few days after this. Heat can also increase in Haryana, Rajasthan, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh and parts of Bihar. Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 34 degrees Celsius on Sunday, which is 2.8 degrees above the average weather temperature. It is likely to increase in the next two days.
According to meteorologists, a fresh western disturbance may affect the Western Himalayan region from Monday night, but it will not have much impact on the temperature of the plains. The temperature in Uttar Pradesh is expected to increase by 4-6 degrees Celsius in the next four days.
Rain and snowfall are expected in these areas
Light rains may occur in Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit Baltistan, Muzaffarabad region on 25-27 March. At the same time, heavy rains or snowfall may also occur at these places on 26 March. Light to moderate rains are expected in Himachal Pradesh on 25-27 March and light in Uttarakhand on 26-27 March.
Western disturbance will affect the mountains
Mahesh Palawat, vice-president of climate and meteorology in Skymet Weather, said, “Things are very dry. A western disturbance is coming, but its effect will be limited to the mountains. Due to cloudless sky and direct sunlight, northwest India, especially in the plains, is expected to increase maximum and minimum temperature in the plains. Can not expect. There may be a slight drop in temperature after 27 March.
How will the condition of Delhi be?
Palawat said, “The maximum temperature in Delhi and surrounding areas is also expected to reach 30 degrees.” The minimum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 15 degrees Celsius on Sunday, while the humidity level was between 67 and 24 percent. The Meteorological Department has predicted the maximum temperature to reach 34 degrees Celsius on Monday, while the minimum temperature is 17 degrees Celsius. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at Delhi at four in the evening, which falls in the ‘medium’ category.
There is a possibility of rain in South India
From South Chhattisgarh to northern Kerala, a Dronika line remains in the interiors of Maharashtra and the interiors of Karnataka. Due to this effect, Tamil Nadu Puducherry, Karaikal, Lakshadweep, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, South Central Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Karnataka on 25 March and in Kerala and Mahe are likely to receive thunderstorms, electricity and strong winds (30–50 km per hour) till 27 March.
